One of football's greatest what-ifs — Inter Milan's Brazilian striker whose combination of power, pace and left foot were terrifying before personal tragedy derailed his career.

Adriano Leite Ribeiro was considered one of the most complete centre-forwards in the world during his peak years at Inter Milan (2004-2006). His left-foot shot was considered the most powerful in football. The death of his father in 2004 led to depression and a dramatic decline — his career never recovered. He won the Copa América with Brazil in 2004 and scored 27 international goals.

His left-foot shot was measured as one of the most powerful ever recorded in football during his peak years.
