Scotland's long-range specialist whose thunderbolt goals from distance made him one of the most distinctive midfielders of the Championship era.
Charlie Adam became one of the most talked-about midfielders outside the top flight during his two seasons at Blackpool, earning a £7 million move to Liverpool in 2011. His ability to strike from 40+ yards produced some of the most memorable goals in Premier League history. He earned 26 Scotland caps and was a constant presence in mid-table Premier League and Championship football for over a decade.
His goal from the halfway line for Stoke against Liverpool at Anfield in 2015 is one of the most audacious Premier League goals ever scored.
