Porto and Barcelona's Brazilian-born Portuguese international — a Champions League winner with two different clubs whose vision and technical quality were exceptional.

Deco was a central figure in two of football's most celebrated Champions League victories — Porto in 2004 under José Mourinho and Barcelona in 2006 under Frank Rijkaard. His technical ability, vision and goal-scoring from midfield made him one of the finest players of the mid-2000s. He won 75 caps for Portugal and was named in the 2006 World Cup Squad of the Tournament.

He is one of very few players to win the Champions League with clubs from two different countries.
