Dragan Džajić is considered the greatest Yugoslav footballer of all time. He was voted the best player at Euro 1968, where he inspired Yugoslavia to the final. His 25 years at Red Star Belgrade, during which he won eight league titles, made him a club legend of unrivalled status. He scored 23 goals in 85 Yugoslavia appearances.

He was voted the best player at Euro 1968 — ahead of every Western European star of the era.
