Sir Henry Cooper is the most beloved British heavyweight in boxing history. He was British and European champion three times and held the record as the longest-reigning British heavyweight champion. His famous left hook — nicknamed "'Enry's 'Ammer" — knocked Cassius Clay down in their 1963 fight at Wembley. He was the first sportsman to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award twice.
