One of football's most technically gifted midfielders — the only player to score World Cup goals for two different countries (Yugoslavia and Croatia).

Robert Prosinečki was one of the most technically gifted midfielders of the 1990s. He was part of Yugoslavia's World Cup squad in 1990 and, after the country's break-up, played for Croatia. He achieved the unique distinction of scoring World Cup goals for both nations. He was a key member of the 1998 Croatia team that finished third.

He is the only player in history to have scored in a World Cup for two different national teams.
