Two-time World Champion who survived a catastrophic fire at the 1976 German Grand Prix and returned to race.

At the 1976 German Grand Prix, Niki Lauda's Ferrari caught fire and he was trapped in the wreckage β€” receiving last rites. Six weeks later, burns still raw, he returned to racing. He lost the 1976 title to James Hunt by a single point but won a second championship in 1984.

He returned to racing just six weeks after the crash β€” one of sport's most courageous acts.
